AudioGenerator Software

RE: Brand New Technology Makes Websites Talk

This is a review of a web-based software, called AudioGenerator: a near perfect tool for adding audio to your website.

---Text of Audio Message from Gerard LeBlond---

Hi,

My name is Gerard LeBlond, and I'm the President of SellInfoProductsOnline.com.

If you have an ecommerce site and you want it to convert more visitors into paying clients then what I have to share with you could be the most important online marketing information that you're  likely to receive.

Here's why...

Tests have shown that people enjoy and pay better attention when people speak to them directly than if the message is given to them in a memo, in a letter or via written words that are splayed out across a computer screen.

With online audio you not only convey the same information that can be printed on the computer screen but listeners benefit from your tone of voice, your inflections and your personality.

If my message is of interest to you I encourage you to read on and discover just what I had to do to produce this short audio message and how you can do the same for your website.

You'll find that it's easy making audio messages for your websites and best of all...

It produces results...

Results that appear in the form of visitors becoming buyers of your online products and/or paying clients for your services.

Enjoy the following review and I hope the information helps to skyrocket your online profits.

From www.SellinfoProductsOnline.com this is Gerard LeBlond and I'll so you there.

 Review of

Audiogenerator.com

This review is intentionally designed as a "how-to" description for creating an audio message with the web-based software, created by Armand Morin and former Microsoft employee Rick Raddatz, called AudioGenerator.

After you've read this piece you'll know how easy it was for me to create the audio messages that you'll find in this review. And...

The "pros" and "cons" of the software are mentioned throughout this product description so you'll have a better idea about this website design tool's suitability to meet your needs.

I had to subscribe to the audiogenerator service and test it out. I went through a small number of steps and documented my every move.

Here's what I did:

Step 1: I visited www.sellinfoproductsonline.com/audio-generator.html and signed up for the web-based software called "AudioGenerator".

Step 2: I checked my email and got a "welcome" letter that had my user name, password and login web address.

Step 3: I used my web browser (I used Explorer but Netscape works just as well), typed in the AudioGenerator web site's "Members Log-In" page, typed in my member ID and passwords and clicked on the "Sign In" button.

Step 4: From a menu bar I clicked on the "record-by-phone" link and an instruction page appeared giving me the 1-800 number to dial and reminded me of my 7 digit member ID.

Step 5: After dialing the 1-800 number I was asked to type in my member ID using the phone's key-pad and then I was prompted to push "1" to record a message. I did as directed and was told to begin my message at the beep.

Step 6: At the beep I recorded the following message and you can listen to it by clicking on the left-most button with the triangle decal (note: the button with the two parallel bars in the center is used to pause the message and the right-most button with the square decal is used to stop and reset the message to the beginning).

--Text of Step 6's Message (duration: 2 minutes 25 seconds)--

There are 3 ways to record your message using AudioGenerator: you can record by microphone; or upload pre-recorded MP3 files of your message; or you can use the "Record-by-phone" utility.

I've only used the site's phone-based recording technique so that's what I'll talk about.

It works great... but it can't produce miracles.

Here's what I mean.

1st: If you use a cheap throw-away phone the sound quality may not be as good as would be the case if you used a high-end phone and handset.

2nd: If you move the handset in your hand while adjusting your grip... distracting background sounds can be transmitted over the line and end up on your recording. You don't want that!

Also, if you bump the mouth piece while talking this will be recorded as well.

So, here's the "take home message": minimize any distracting handset sounds by consciously eliminating unnecessary movements while you are recording.

3rd: If you want music at the front of your message and at the end you'll have to get creative.

Now, maybe someday the AudioGenerator tool will allow users to add front-end, back-end and even background music once the audio messages have been recorded and merge your message and the music in a seamless and professional way.

We'll have to wait and see if this function becomes available in the future. But...

And this is important...

Fancy effects like background music isn't important, what is critical is your message and how well your message comes across, and...

The nice thing is that both of these factors are in your complete control.

Here's a hint that you might find useful:

Always write a text of your message and go through it, reading it out loud, at least 3 times, to make sure your both comfortable and familiar with the wording before recording it.

This approach helps me to streamline the message and helps in getting a nice audio message free of stumbles, pauses, and poorly structured sentences.

So, this is Gerard LeBlond, and I hope this info is both informative and useful.

If you want to hear this message again just click on the audio button.

Step 7: At the end of my message I hung up the phone then used the website's menu bar to navigate to the "My Recordings" page. I clicked on the newest audio file, refreshed my browser, and listened to the results. I gave the file a name and clicked on the Website Audio Publishing Wizard. This Wizard allowed me to choose the style of "play" button and the button's color. I also instructed the Wizard to create a button that only plays when clicked (as opposed to the auto-play with every page view as is the case with the button at the top of this page). I clicked on the "Get The Code" link.

Step 8: My browser was directed to a "Publishing Instructions" page from which I copied the source code and pasted it into my WebEditor program to create this page.

Step 9: I saved and then uploaded this webpage to my website and you're looking at the results.

So, there you have it.

The first AudioGenerator message at the top of this page was designed to play automatically upon downloading the page. The total time for the message to run is 112 seconds.

That message contains music at the beginning and end and I did that by playing a tape of music through my computer's speakers. Those speakers where positioned close to my phone's mouth piece (my face was literally inches away from speakers that were blasting out the sound). I started reading my script while the music was playing and once the music had faded away I moved away from the speakers and continued reading my message. You'll notice background sounds that arose from my handling the phone's handset a little too roughly. Also, due to poor enunciation on my part you can hear whistling and some slurs.

But, even though the recording isn't perfect the message get's through and that's what I had in mind from the beginning.

In conclusion: I've created a number of audio messages using AudioGenerator and have noticed that the quality of the messages have improved with practice and experience.

The web-based software tool is easy to use and I like the fact that I don't have to download any software onto my hard drive.

The web-based software is accessible 24 hours a day/365 days a year.

I'm hooked and consider the AudioGenerator an important part of my website design tools.

I highly recommended it and I like being able to make my websites communicate via audio. Sound is powerful especially for getting your message out to prospects who process sound information better than the written word.

I'm a believer and user of AudioGenerator and that's why I've written this review.
